Troubleshooting Guide: JUUL Battery

The JUUL battery is built to last for up to 12 hours or more of continuous use. The battery can last up to 8 hours with heavier usage, such as those who use it every few minutes.

The internal lithium-ion battery in the JUUL is included. The battery will last earlier if it is charged and discharged repeatedly using e cigarette charger UK, as with all lithium-ion batteries. This should not be an issue until the device has been at least six months old. If your device's life expectancy is less than 6 months, it's worth replacing the battery. This usually happens between 1-2 years.

Are you having trouble with your JUUL Kit? These are quick solutions and answers to common questions and issues.

Question: Are JUULPods refillable?

JUULPods cannot be refilled. The pods have an in-built coil that is used to vapourise liquids. If the liquid is not present, the coil will be less efficient and likely to burn out quickly.

Question: What is the life expectancy of a JUULPod?

Each JUULPod's lifespan is dependent on how often it is used. Each pod has 0.7ml of liquid, which gives 200 puffs. Depending on your vaping habits, this can take up to 24 hours.

Question: How can I clean my JUUL?

It is a good idea to clean your JUUL every couple of weeks. This can help with a few common problems.

First, take out the pod. Next, use a cotton swab (or cotton buds) to gently clean all electrical contact points. You should wipe the entire device, including the charging contacts at the bottom and the pod slot for pod contacts. However, you don't need to use much-rubbing alcohol.

Question: Where can I find my JUUL serial numbers?

Each JUUL device is assigned a serial number. This number may be needed by JUUL in the event of product defects. The serial number of 8 characters can be found underneath the JUUL logo on the backside of your device.

Question: My JUUL is leaking, what should I do?

Sometimes, your JUULPod might leak slightly from its mouthpiece. This happens when e-liquid is drawn into the chamber by pressing too hard on it or by compressing or squeezing the pod.

You can simply clean up any leakage and the pod will still be safe to use. If the problem persists, you can try turning the pod upside down and gently tapping it against a piece of tissue. This will eliminate any liquid that remains in the chamber.

Changing the way you vape is the best way to avoid leakages. The JUUL is not designed to deliver a satisfying hit and a small amount of cloud. Avoid biting and squeezing your mouthpiece, as this could cause small gaps for the liquid to seep through.

Question: My JUUL does not produce enough vapour?

Although the JUUL doesn't produce a lot of vapour, there are some quick fixes. To test if your issue is resolved, go through the following steps and then use your JUUL to try it again.

  • Take the pod out of the slot and reverse it.
  • Tap the pod gently on a flat surface to release any air bubbles.
  • Take the pod out and squeeze the transparent plastic and black cap.
  • Take the pod out and turn it upside-down. Tap gently on a piece of tissue.

These solutions fix the majority of draw-based, airflow and vapour issues.

Question: My JUUL doesn't produce any vapour?

You may have a problem with your JUUL's connectivity or battery. There are several effective solutions!

If your JUUL isn't activating or hitting the desired button, you need to clean all connections. To do this, use a cotton wool swab and make sure you clean all connections - especially those at the base of your pod and in the slot where it goes. Problems can be caused by even a tiny amount of liquid in the connectors.

If that doesn't solve your problem, you can check the bottom of your pod. To allow the gold connectors to contact the battery, they should be slightly lifted. The connectors may not be able to contact the battery if they are too far in the mouthpiece or pressed too hard. If this happens, let your retailer know.

Try another pod to see if it works. If the problem persists even with other pods, it could be a product defect that will need to be addressed by your retailer or JUUL.

Question: My JUUL doesn't charge.

The pulsing LED light at the bottom of the JUUL will let you know that it is charging. This will be a small circular LED light for the standard JUUL. The JUUL C1 will have a band of LED lights at the base. Charging should take between 45-60 minutes.

Use a USB socket that is horizontal (or upright) when charging your JUUL via its USB dock. The charger is magnetic so charging your JUUL sideways or at an angle can cause it to lose its connection. You can try a different USB port, such as one on your laptop or PC, to see if your JUUL charges correctly.
